Common settings#
ondago config list
ondago config set tool codex
ondago config set workspace YOUR_WORKSPACE_SLUG
ondago config set analytics off
ondago config set check-updates false| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
workspace | Default workspace slug. |
tool | Agent to start for new sessions. |
carry-history | Whether lifts include Git history. |
check-updates | Automatic daily update checks; explicit update still works. |
analytics | CLI usage events; associated with your account after sign-in. |
forward-agent-key | Whether to forward a local agent credential for cloud work. |
store-provider-key | Whether provider credentials may be stored encrypted for workspace use. |
Use config unset SETTING where supported to return to the default; config get reads workspace or tool. The interactive config pane can also set the store address.
Environment overrides#
| Variable | Effect |
|---|---|
ONDAGO_STORE | Override the store: an HTTPS API URL or a file:// local directory. |
ONDAGO_WORKSPACE | Override the workspace for this command. |
ONDAGO_TOKEN | Workspace token for CI or containers without interactive browser sign-in. |
ONDAGO_CONFIG_DIR | Place configuration, keys, and local bundles under a chosen directory. |
ONDAGO_NO_UPDATE_CHECK | Disable the automatic update check, not explicit ondago update. |
Environment values override saved configuration. A setting that appears to ignore config set may be overridden in your shell. A workspace token authorizes API operations; it is not a replacement for the encryption keys needed to read a bundle. Use your CI secret store for tokens.
Find your configuration#
ondago helpThe configuration section prints the exact config file and data directory for your operating system. Keep the device key and recovery material private. Changing ONDAGO_CONFIG_DIR points the CLI at a different set of keys and credentials.
Installer options#
| Variable | Purpose |
|---|---|
ONDAGO_INSTALL_DIR | Override the CLI destination directory. |
ONDAGO_NO_APP=1 | Install the CLI without Desktop. |
ONDAGO_VERSION | Pin the CLI to a published version. |
ONDAGO_DESKTOP_VERSION | Pin Desktop independently of the CLI. |
These affect the installer, not ordinary CLI commands. Use a version from the appropriate published release channel.
