CLI Ondago documentation

Everyday commands

Find, save, move, and continue your sessions from the terminal.

Start with the interactive interface#

ondago

Run this in your project directory to open the interactive interface. The Agents view lists recent sessions across this computer. Click a session to resume it in a new terminal window, or click its project to open Sessions in that project’s directory. Use arrow keys to select a row, Left/Right to choose project or session, and Enter to open it; P also opens the selected project. The Sessions screen searches the directory shown in its heading. Browse saved bundles, manage devices and your account, or change settings using the keyboard or mouse.

For scripts and direct actions, use the commands below. SESSION_ID means a local agent session; BUNDLE_ID means an encrypted saved snapshot. Replace these placeholders with IDs from detect and list.

ondago login#

Sign in and connect this computer to your account.

ondago login

Follow the browser sign-in and device-registration prompts. See installation and sign-in for workspace selection.

ondago detect#

Find sessions in your project.

ondago detect -cwd ~/projects/example-app -plain

-plain prints the list. Leave it out to use the interactive picker.

ondago lift#

Save an encrypted snapshot of a local session.

ondago lift -session SESSION_ID -no-cloud

Run this from the project directory. -no-cloud saves without starting a cloud run. To continue in the cloud, follow the cloud guide. Use -tool AGENT_ID to choose the source agent when needed.

ondago list#

Find the saved bundle you want to pull.

ondago list

Session titles decrypt on this device. Copy the bundle ID for pull or resume.

ondago pull#

Bring a saved bundle into a project directory.

ondago pull BUNDLE_ID -dir ~/projects/example-app

For cloud results, -branch -no-open lets you inspect the returned work on a separate branch before continuing. Commit or stash local edits first. See collecting cloud work.

ondago resume#

Pull a saved bundle and continue with its agent in this terminal.

ondago resume BUNDLE_ID -dir ~/projects/example-app

Install the target agent first. See resuming on another computer for setup and workspace access.

ondago migrate#

Preview a copy of a local session in another agent.

ondago migrate SESSION_ID -to codex -dir ~/projects/example-app -dry-run

Read the compatibility report, resolve required choices, then repeat without -dry-run. The original session stays in its source agent. Follow the agent-switching guide.

ondago serve#

Keep a local session available from your phone.

ondago serve -cwd ~/projects/example-app -session SESSION_ID -mirror

Open the printed URL or QR code on your phone. -mirror keeps this terminal interactive. Leave the serving terminal open and the computer awake. Follow the phone guide.
